ITI Bangalore Plant is engaged in
manufacture of switching , access, Micro
Electronics etc., catering to the
requirements of BSNL, Defence, Railways
etc.,. The unit also has a Information
Technology dept which provides IT
solutions .
We have been providing In-Plant / Project Training to the students ME / BE /
MBA / MCA / MSW in various disciplines. The students have an excellent
opportunity to orient themselves on the technological developments in the field of
Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication and in their respective areas
of specialization. 2

We charge a nominal fee towards the In Plant/Project Training as detailed
below:-

Hostel/Canteen/Transport facility
Out station students are provided with hostel facility [subject to availability] with a
nominal fee of Rs.500/- per month and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.1000/-.
In case of students desirous of availing hostel facility same need to be informed
in advance. They are also provided with Break-fast /Lunch facility at a subsidized
rates and permitted to avail the Transport facility at a nominal charge.3
Procedure:
Project Training:
The colleges are required to forward a letter/email giving the details of the
students and areas in which project training is required along with the CV’s of the
students . On acceptance of the project training, a communication will be sent to
the college indicating the schedule of the Training along with a attestation form
which need to be filled up and countersigned by the Principal/HOD of the
College.
In-Plant Training.
The colleges are required to forward a letter/Email giving the details of students
who wish to undergo training along with the dates of Training. The In plant
training will have two batches commencing from 1st and 15th of every month.
On acceptance, a communication will be sent to the college indicating the
schedule of the Training along with a attestation form which need to be filled up
and counter signed by the Principal /HOD of the College
General
Foreign Students:
Colleges are required to inform in advance in respect of Students who are from
foreign Countries studying in India and desirous of undergoing Project/In Plant
Training in ITI Limited. The details may include Passport No, Country of origin,
Place and Country of Birth, Validity of Passport, VISA details, Contact details.
Such students are also required to submit a copy of the Passport and VISA. The
students may also be advised to carry original Passport at the time of Visit.
Payment of Fees:
The students may either draw a DD in favour of ITI Limited Bangalore towards
the Training fee or pay the cash at the cash counter of ITI at the time of reporting.
Students are also required to carry three passport size photographs. On
reporting students will be issued with an identification badge permitting them to
enter the factory premises during the period of training.
Working Hours/Holidays.
The working hours of the factory is between 8.00 AM and 4.00 PM and Sunday
will be weekly Off.
