"Please do not go and pay any extra charges to any KIOSK or cyber café" or any individual to avail the services of RGPV portal as  neither RGPV nor Banks charge any Additional Transaction Fee to do the online payments on the portal. Student Himself / Parents / Guardian / Institution are only allowed to do the student registration and online fee payments on the portal. For safe transactions and to save money, always try to access the portal from Internet connectivity available at your Institute, at Home or at known places. It is recommended that you do not share your internet banking account information and related credentials (username or password) with any internet café or individual In case of transaction failure, do not make another transaction, register your complaint at the Help Centre and wait for response. All students must verify that your personal Email ID and Mobile numbers are entered in the portal Registration Form. Workshop on Computational Information Processing 

Organized by Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit (ECSU), ISI, Kolkata 

And Department of Computer Science and Engineering,  

 North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh 

February 22—25, 2012

To promote interaction within and outside the scientific communities of North Eastern 
States, the 12
th
workshop on Computational Information Processing will be 
organized in North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), 
Nirjuli (Itanagar), Arunachal Pradesh during February 22-25, 2012. The workshop will 
include presentations in the areas of pattern recognition and image analysis emphasizing 
applications involving  signal processing, image compression, image and video 
processing, content-based image and video retrieval, remote sensing, computer graphics
and related areas. The workshop will also include presentations from the participants. 
No prerequisite is envisaged for participants. In each topic, attempts will be made to 
build up fundamental concepts followed by an introduction to some of the modern 
research directions. 
Speakers 
The speakers from Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) have been carrying out basic and 
applied research in areas of pattern recognition, image processing, evolutionary 
computing, neural modeling and remote sensing. Besides contributing regularly to 
national and international journals and conferences, they publish books, serve in journal 
editorial boards, collaborate with several national and international universities, organize 
international conferences and supervise postgraduate research in these areas.
