Human beings have always been fascinated by nature and especially by biological diversity and their evolutionary process. It resulted in a new paradigm of computation known as bio-inspired computing. The widely popular methods in the areas of evolutionary computation, swarm intelligence, and artificial immune systems are just to name few. The Bio-Inspired Computing: Theories and Applications (BIC-TA) is one of the most reputed series of international conferences in the field of bio-inspired computing. Seventh version of this conference (BIC-TA 2012) will be held at ABV- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior, India on December 14-16, 2011. Researchers are invited to submit their original and unpublished research work to BIC-TA 2012 in following (but not limited to) areas:
Theories, Methodologies and Experimental Results
Swarm Intelligence | Evolutionary Computation | Neural Network | DNA and Molecular Computing | Membrane Computing | Biological Computing | Artificial Immune Systems | Autonomy-Oriented Computing | Cellular and Molecular Automata | Complex Systems | Computational Neuroscience | Fuzzy Systems
Applications
Computational Neuroscience | Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning | Signal Processing and Pattern Recognition | Data Fusion, Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining | Expert Systems | Computer Security | Computer Vision | DNA Nanotechnology | Web and Networks | Multi-Objective Optimization | Bioinformatics and Cheminformatics | Parallel Computing | Natural Language Processing
The conference proceedings will be published by Springer (a formal approval is awaited).
