The Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management - Kerala (IIITM-K)�has been set up by the Government of Kerala under its Information Technology Department in the year 2000. IIITM-K's Mission is to be an institution of excellence in education, research, development and training in basic and applied Information Technology and Management and to be a leader in educational networking and services provider for higher education . The institute is driven with vision and direction by a Board of Directors�constituted by the Government of Kerala comprising a team of accomplished and eminent persons from academia, IT Industry, Research and Development and Administration. Shri S Gopalakrishnan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Infosys, is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors.
