In view of national highway trauma management policy of Govt. of India, improved and specialized care of orthopedic problems, increasing rehabilitation services for orthopedic disability and geriatric problems, the specialized nursing care is of high demand. To address this and to provide specialized care in Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in Nursing this course are being started first time in the country at this apex institute in the area of rehabilitation for the Orthopaedically handicapped.
Course is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and WBNC. Such trained nursing professional shall have better and specialized career opportunities both in government and corporate hospitals.
Applications are invited from eligible candidate for the admission in Post Basic Diploma in Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Nursing course at NIOH Kolkata
The focus of training will be on clinical nursing skill development specialty in area of Orthpaedic Nursing and comprehensive rehabilitation service management (in institution as well as community); administrative and leadership skills. As the field of Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation is growing fast there is a increasing demand for such qualified and skilled Nursing professionals.

Eligibility
· Registered nurse (RN&RM) or equivalent
· Minimum one year if experience in the field of nursing
· Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalent certificate from INC before admission.
