About the University:
The University of Burdwan started on 15
th
June, 1960, with Sukumar Sen, an ICS, as its first Vice Chancellor. There are
now about 22 Post – Graduate departments in various disciplines. The University of Burdwan entrusted the Department of
Computer Science to organize this National Conference.
¾ About the Department:
The Department of Computer Science offers Ph. D. program in Computer Science and AICTE approved MCA (Master of
Computer Application) course, of 3 years duration, with total 20 no. of seats per batch.
¾ About the Conference:
The Department of Computer Science is arranging the Second National Conference on Computing and Systems, 2012
(NaCCS – 2012) during 15 – 16 March, 2012.

Abstract should be written within 100 words (maximum). Abstract must be sent in softcopy (in pdf format) within 18

November, 2011. Acceptance of the topic on abstract will be communicated as and when possible (positively within 25
th
November, 2011) from the organizing committee.
Paper should be composed with Times New Roman font of size 10 in double column with 1 ½ length line space and in
.doc or .docx or .pdf format. Paper should be of maximum page count of 06 (six). Additional pages will cost Rs. 250/-
per page. A sample paper with required formatting will be sent to the author(s) along with the acceptance of the topic of
“abstract”. Full Paper should be submitted in soft copy within 19
th
December, 2011 at bu.naccs2012@gmail.com.
Review report will be sent to the author(s) as and when that becomes available. Last date of sending review report from
organizing committee is 31

January, 2012. Camera ready paper with further modifications (if required) must be sent
within 10
th
February, 2012.
Registration process must be completed within 13
th
February, 2012. At least one author per paper must register himself /
herself, failing this, the paper will not be accepted. Only registered authors / presenters will get the conference proceedings
and other conference materials. Additional proceedings (only proceedings and, no other conference materials) can be
obtained by placing advance requisition, paying Rs. 1000/- per copy before 20
th
February, 2012
